Guilfest 2011
Well done to the whole team for a tremendous job at Guilfest 2011. The organisers said they have never seen the campsite so clean post festival. We hope to return next year with a bigger team and maybe doing different things as well so watch this space over the winter for more details.

We are pleased to announce we are working at the following festivals during 2011.
Isle of Wight, Guilfest, Latitude, Camp Bestival, The Big Chill, V Festival , Reading and Bestival.

Dreadzone @ Sub89 – Thursday 19th May!
“Dreadzone are a British band whose music is an eclectic fusion of dub, reggae, techno, trance, folk and rock.
Formed by ex Big Audio Dynamite drummer Greg Roberts, the band have gone from strength to strength releasing six studio albums and two live albums across an 18 year career.
The band are famed for their vibrant, eclectic live performances and May 19th see’s their long overdue debut appearance at Sub89..”

The first line up announced for V festival today . Full details at www.vfestival.com looks like a good one and we should be at Chelmsford again this year .More details later but we need to recruit more volunteers so get recruiting now!

Guilfest 2011
We are delighted to announce that we will be working with Guilfest in 2011. The stewarding positions will offer a variety of stuff including car parking and checking wristbands at Arena Entrance as well as some exciting projects in the coming years . Green Machine Events has an ethos akin to a social enterprise. This means we strive to give disabled or disadvantaged people the same chances in life as everyone else.
All our teams whether paid or voluntary will have at least 25% disabled or disadvantaged people doing the same jobs as the rest of team and just as well!!
Started in 2009 at Reading Festival, Green Machine Events has a team of people called the Festival Access Recycling Team (F.A.R.T. for short!) who volunteer to work at festivals in return for the usual festival volunteering perks (nice toilets and showers are always a bonus!! and of course your free entry wristband).
In 2010 over 140 people volunteered at 10 Festivals including Reading , Latitude, V Festival, Glastonbury and The Big Chill amongst other events such as Taste Of London.
Our ethos is simple “To introduce sustainability and minimum landfill to all events whilst giving accessibility and equality to disabled and disadvantaged people”
We can help your company/event whether it is supplying volunteers for recycling or other event duties. From consultancy to management of your event which will maximise the landfill reduction.
